Welcome to the FancyCarat Fine Jewelry Forums! This is an online discussion board for both jewelry novices and connoisseurs alike to discuss designer jewelry.
my daughter and her boyfriend make rings etc. He is First Nations, and makes cultural jewelry while she lets her clients lead her. I'm so glad I found this site. I used to make bead rings on a loom when I was younger
I make jewelry. Bracelets and necklaces....rings and earrings confuse me! LOL I have a lot of people that would like matching earrings for their bracelet, but I cant do it!!
After that, go to the library and see if there are any books. The process is actually pretty hard. It takes a lot of time to make them and some expensive equiptment. If you want to do this as a hobby, it might not be a good idea.
If you want to start a new company, then good luck
YOU SHOULD CHECK YOUR LOCAL COMMUNITY BOARD IF YOU HAVE ON OR EVEN CRAIGSLIST TO HELP YOU FIND THE RIGHT TOOLS YOU WILL NEED. ALSO MAYBE YU COULD TRY TO STOP BY A LOCAL MA AND PA JEWELRY STORE ANS ASK IF THEY COUD REFER YOU TO SOME USEFUL INFORMATION.
ALSO GO CHECK OUT JEWELRY MAKING FROM THE LIBRARY. MOST LIBRARIES HAVE AN EXCELLENT SELECTION ON DIY BOOKS PLUS YOU WON'T HAVE TO SPEND ANY MONEY ON THE TRAINING.
