Any recommendations where to go to have custom earrings made?
I know of a local shop where several artists design jewelery, but they're on the pricey side. I have an old ring with a bunch of small diamonds (0.25 c or less) and would love to incorporate some of all of them into something new. Any ideas?

Do you have a "family" owned jewelry store anywhere near you? I always find them to be less expensive. I'm sure a quick online search would bring up loads of people who redesign old jewelry.

I agree with family-owned businesses. I have also gotten the best recommendations for these places than others.

I would think the same as the above posters. I have a daughter and her boyfriend who make custom design jewellry; but they are in Vancouver

yes family owned jewelry stores are more flexible with custom designs, whether it be necklaces, earrings, bracelets etc.....kay's, jareds, zales are also capable of doing the job, but pricewise a family owned jewelry store may fit your needs just a little bit more in your situation.

I think this is the best way for it. I agree with family-owned businesses. I have also gotten the best recommendations for these places than others. So just Go for it.
