toothpaste is abrasive, so not a good idea to clean your jewelry with it!

I find using toothpaste works best on my silver jewelry. The gold seems to cloud it.

Toothpaste is fine for me. I've used for a few times now.

What do you do just wipe the toothpaste one and then off again? I've never heard of useing toothpaste for a jewelry cleaner. Can't be much worse then what my wedding band goes through daily though.

I just thought I would let you all know that if you want to buy a cleaner, try "Connoisseur." You can find it at Wal-Mart, in the jewelry department. It really does make the silver sparkly again (for a dirt-cheap price)!
I love diamonds even in my teeth.

Toothpaste cleaning is Ok to use but don't try it on costly jewelry. It may leave abrasions on diamond. From personal experience it works fine on silverware.
