I agree with all of these! I've left my gold jade necklace on by accident once as I was showering, and once I got out, I was quite red around the neckline. Has anyone else had this problem before?

I must definitely agree with #s 3 and 4.

My husband has pretty much lost 2 rings this way. Ring #1, he got lotion beneath the band, and it actually got trapped beneath the stones and caused an infection. His finger swelled and turned color. We had to cut the ring off. Ring #2, he was working (he's in construction), and he slammed his ring finger with a tool. His finger swelled up, and again, we had to cut the ring off.

Lesson learned - he just doesn't wear a ring much anymore these days. lol I know he still loves me though! :)

I also agree that these are very good tips. My best friends leaves her necklace on day and night, when shes in the shower and even at work. I use to warn here from time to time of the risks and one day my precautions just werent enough and the necklace ending up breaking in her sleep and had got cloudy because of her perfume and lotion. Definately a lesson learned!
