2.0 carat natural pink tourmaline with 1.16 carat premium quality diamonds. This ring really catches attention with its mix of bright white and deep pink.
The hues of the opal, the light of the diamond, are not to be seen if the eye is too near.

Hi Mr. Rush:
I tried to find the price for this ring but couldn't. Could you please tell me more about this gemstone, is it a natural diamond and where is it from? If you could please tell me about the quality available (the C's). Is this gem what pinkpanther was made of? I have never seen the use of both yellow and white gold on the same ring, and I find it to look amazingly colorful. I like it a lot. If the price is right, I may be interested in purchasing one.

Hi,

The gemstone in the ring is tourmaline. Tourmaline is a crystal silicate mineral compounded with elements such as aluminum, iron, magnesium, sodium, lithium, potassium. Tourmaline gem stones come in a wide variety of colors. The name comes from the Sinhalese word "turamali" or "toramalli", which applied to different gemstones found in Ceylon (now Sri Lanka).

The Pink Panther is a 50-carat princess-cut diamond and is not a gemstone per se. And you can get quite a few rings in a variety of gold colors. There is not only the original yellow gold but also white gold and even pink gold. Blue gold is also possible by doping gold with cobalt, giving it a shiny blue sheen!.

That would be perfect without the yellow gold part and with a blue stone, or maybe green or other shade of red. I can't even imagine wearing that, though, too big for everyday work. For really important occasions, maybe.

Personally, I do not like this ring at all. I think that the big gem in the center takes away attention from all the small diamonds. I doubt it will sparkle that much either.

If you want to get something impressive, a single diamond is the way to go. You can easily get something which is not of perfect clarity and still not have to break the bank.

I also dont think that you should combine yellow and white gold in a ring. The ring looks too busy. A simple, clean design is more modern.

If you want to get fancy, you can try a heart shaped design. They are more difficult to come by, but they look really cute.

Wow! that is beautiful!!! I would love to own a ring like that one day.. even though I am sure I could never afford it!!

Oh and I think a heart shaped middle stone (the red one) would be beautiful as well.. Even though I think the original design is amazing as well!!

That is a gorgeous ring. The pink and the gold really POP against the silver and diamonds. Beautiful!
