Re: Diamond Detector

I've never heard of such a diamond detector? Was this from a reputable diamond store?

Re: 4C`s importance

All 4C's are incredibly significant (color, cut, clarity, and carat weight) as they help in figuring out the actual costs and value of specific diamonds.

Re: colored diamonds

Be aware and do some research. Colored diamonds are a lot more expensive since they are rarer than other diamonds.

Re: Saphire colors

Sapphires come in all sorts of colors. Blue, white, and red sapphires are the best in my opinion!

Re: My mother loves Jade

I LOVE jades as well. I suggest buying Jades from reputable jewelry stores in downtown chinatowns. They sell very beautiful ones for exceptional prices. Just make sure you know your jades!

Re: What is the best metal to buy these days for the price?

As everyone has stated, gold is the best piece of metal to buy currently. You can NEVER go wrong with gold. It goes with everything.

Re: Best place to sell old gold

Most definitely pawn shops are a great place to sell old gold. You may even try eBay, but I must warn you to be careful with selling on eBay. Make sure you have enough good feedback; otherwise others wont see you as a reputable seller and the bids will not be as high as you would want it.

Re: What matters more to you? Clarity or Carats?

It's a mix between both clarity and carat. Without either of them, it is not worth much of what it should really be.
