Re: eBay

I've never bought any jewelry on ebay and I probably won't. I like to try thing on before I buy them, and I'd be too woried about getting scammed out of money or being sent something fake.

Re: What is the Kimberly Process?

I had no idea about this. This is what the movie Blood Diamond is about right? It is good that more people are being made aware of this issue.

Re: The Value of different kinds of pearls?

Color, size, and shape are the most important in determining value. Dark colors like blue and black are more rare, so they are moe expensive. And pearls that are not compleetly round are worth less than those that are.

Re: Which metal is most durable?

Platinum is stronger, but it is also heavier and more expensive. For gold, the higher the Kt, 24, 16, 10, etc. the softer it is because it is more pure. If you're buying gold, I would reccomend 14kt.

Re: What matters more to you? Clarity or Carats?

I would rather have something that is in the middle of both of them. Flawless carats are very hard to find, and most flaws are only noticeable from close up. But I wouldn't want one with any glaring marks.

Re: Caring for an old class ring

And store it with one of those silica gel packs that come in shoes and purses and stuff. It will keep the moisture out.

What is your favorite store?

Do you have one jewelry store that you just love? Mine is Helzberg, there is one at the mall close to my house. The people there are always nice and they have some beautiful things!

Re: Where Diamonds are purchased

I don't think I would like to know where my diamonds are from. As lons as they are from a store with a lifetime guarantee, I'm good. I'd say it a don't ask, don't tell sort of thing.

Who Keeps The Ring?

What do you think? After a couple breaks up, who should get the ring? Was it a gift so the girl should keep it, or should she return it since she no longer want to marry him?
