I have always heard that only real diamonds would cut glass and that was a test. As far as one versus the other aren't diamond naturally occuring stones. So the man made process takes the same "ingedients" so to speak and just causes it to happen faster? I thought diamonds are basical...

This is a great idea for something that could easily be reproduced. However if you do one of a kind stuff and each piece is different I am not sure you need that type of protection. I am interested in hearing other peoples responses because I have a friend going through this same dilema in his pen...

This is a great recipe for your own cleaner. How often to you need to make a new batch? Is this something that you can just store and continue to use or should the "cleaner" be replaced every month or so?
