Re: How much Diamonds are Too Much?

Anything up to one carat looks great on most everyone. The easiest way to figure out what you want, go to a jewelry store and try on many different rings, with different carat weights, styles, cuts. Trust me, I worked in a jewelry store in college and people did this all the time! :D

Re: DX silver jewelry?

I haven't purchased from them, but I always consider customer reviews VERY important. If a majority of the reviews are bad, I wouldn't buy fromt them.

Isn't that the truth! But don't buy her a ugly diamond just because it's big. Remember to look at the clarity, cut, and color! HTH! Good luck!

Re: Winter fine jewelry fashion

I wear white and yellow gold all year long. I think it depends on the outfit and not necessarily the season.

Re: Best place to sell old gold

To be safe and not mail your gold in I suggest going to your local jeweler. Thats where I take my useless gold. I trust them more than sending something through the mail. I agree! I would be too apprehensive to mail anything of value to an unknown company and then expect them to send money bac...

Re: Homemade Jewelry Cleaner

This is a great jewelry cleaning recipe. TYOP! If you do use toothpaste, be careful. It can actually scratch some stones. Opals should never be cleaned with toothpaste or any ammonia based cleaner because it can cause them to crack.
