platinum would be a good low cost not to expensive if you got money but if you don't you may need to save up awhile before buying some or take out a loan i would say it's the best durable metal out here these days.

Platinum is stronger, but it is also heavier and more expensive. For gold, the higher the Kt, 24, 16, 10, etc. the softer it is because it is more pure. If you're buying gold, I would reccomend 14kt.

The more pure the gold, the less durable. 24k is easily bent or reformed so I would rather go with a 14k or 18k or if you have the money to splurge then go with the platinum :)

I really think that the platinum is the most durable one, although I'm not absolutely certain about that. I believe that is also why they cost so much!

platinum is not very durable! white gold is much more durable and less expensive! you could get more ring for your money if you go with white gold

I would say Yellow Gold. That is the metal even most of the Governments hold in the form of gold bullions.

Yes, but the cost to constantly replate so it could get that 'white silver' look again can be expensive, right?

Titanium is pretty durable for a guys ring.
It is strong and sturdy and looks fantastic!

platinum is the most durable for sure, but not necessarily affordable.
